Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985), best known for his luxurious designs in glass, was an artist of exceptional diversity whose works ranged from postage stamps to future cities, from salmon flies to earthwork monuments. Together with listing his best known designs, this book contains essays on the different aspects of his work and memoirs of friends.
